I was born and raised in the 'Heart of the Waikato', Tokoroa. I am a devoted husband and father to my wife Ellyse and our two beautiful children. I enlisted into the NZ Army at the age of 17 years and served for over 5 years with deployments to Afghanistan, Singapore and Australia. My experiences in the Army taught me to work alongside many people with different cultures, religions and values and to appreciate the differences that many people have.
Having graduated with my National Diploma in Embalming (NZEA) I’m even more passionate about helping people, whether it’s serving my country in the NZ Army, my community through my church or easing the grieving process for a bereaved family. I find it very rewarding and an honour to help assist in any way possible. I believe it is a privilege to be a funeral director and embalmer, and see my calling as an opportunity to serve others in a time of need.
In my spare time I enjoy time with my family and keeping up with my energetic children, staying fit and playing club rugby.
